TOPIC: Problem with Instalation package

Problem with Instalation package 14 years 8 months ago #26

Hi,

I was having the MD5 checksum error.. The file was not down loading. the file was zero bytes... :(

But then i had a look at the installation package for jupdate.. and something very wierd was happening.. It seems that there is two of every file in the package.. all with identacle names... and most of them look identical.. but the step1.php and teh second step1.php differ in size..

I am going to try modifying teh package, and see if I cant get a better result.

There was another thread with MD5 issues, can you check this one and I'll post updates there: http://sammoffatt.com.au/os/forum/2-update-manager/7-md5-checksum-error

There shouldn't be two files but I just did a quick tar tzf and there it lists two files each. Looks like Phing is doing something stupid again, I'll have to stop using it again. Extracting should only result in one file being pushed onto disk. I'll have a look at building things differently for the next release, perhaps not using Phing.
