Greetings all,

I installed the Update Manager on Joomla 1.5.17 (Ubuntu system). Though when I go to "Components->Updata Manager" I do not see the "Parameters" button as described in your web-page walkthrough. Any hints or help guys?

Solved (so quickly). I re-installed the UpdateManager extension (without deleting the existing one) and Voila it showed up the "Parameters" button.
The administrator has disabled public write access.
