Joomla! Package Manager (JPackageMan) is designed to provide the ability for Joomla! 1.5 to install "packages" of extensions. Previously users would have to install each individual package into their system or use strange hacks to get things to work. JPackageMan is here to change that providing a method of installing (and uninstalling) entire packages of extensions (components, modules, plugins, etc) by simply providing one package file to the Joomla! installer. It integrates the installation part right into the built in Installer so that users don't have to go anywhere else to install packages. Uninstallation of packages is available via a package manager.
