The package downloads fine. I have the package an jupgrader.xml in the tmp directory, however when trying the install I get Failed to Extract Archive errors no matter which flavor of extraction I select. I've got php 5.16 on the box.

I have this problem on 4 domains that I administer.

Any help here?

I too had my first failure with Update Manager when trying to update from 1.5.21 to 1.5.22 I got this message Error: MD5 checksum does not match! Delete and redownload file. Is there anything I can do via Update Manager, please. I am a novice and reluctant to use ftp.

You are running a greater version of Joomla! than what is available for download.

I have 1.5.21 and the new version is 1.5.22

I am also getting the same message

Update Manager has been installed for months now and has been updating great until now, any one know what is causing this yet?
