LDAP Tools/User Auto Creation

User autocreation enables the automatic creation of a user once their details have been validated. This event may occur via either the SSI or SSO bots have authenticated the user. By default autocreation is disabled, but can be easily enabled by altering the option in the mambot's paramater area. In addition to user autocreation, the system can use a group mapping to assign that user the correct priviledges at creation time otherwise the user is created as 'Registered'. In Joomla! 1.5, authentication plugins returning sufficient information can also trigger the automatic creation of a user if this has been set by the "User - Joomla!" plugin.

Warning: User autocreation relies on certain attributes existing in the LDAP directory. It hasn't been appropriately tested in a widescale environment beyond what Novell provides.

Note: For Joomla! 1.5 this is supported via the User Sources system.
